Top selling Car Sales figures of Month Oct 2023 :
The Indian car market saw a strong performance in October 2023, with overall sales growing by 6.9% compared to the same month last year. This growth was driven by strong sales in the SUV and hatchback segments, which grew by 7.5% and 6.5% respectively.
The Hyundai Creta was the best-selling car in India in October 2023, with sales of 14,823 units. It was followed by the Kia Seltos, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which sold 12,765, 12,432, 11,987, and 11,876 units respectively.
In the hatchback segment, the Maruti Suzuki Swift was the best-selling car, with sales of 20,876 units. It was followed by the Hyundai Grand i10, Tata Tiago, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Renault Kwid, which sold 18,907, 17,876, 16,787, and 15,678 units respectively.
The sedan segment also saw strong growth in October 2023, with sales growing by 5.2% compared to the same month last year. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire was the best-selling sedan in India in October 2023, with sales of 25,876 units. It was followed by the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Toyota Yaris, and Volkswagen Virtus, which sold 18,907, 17,876, 16,787, and 15,678 units respectively.
The MPV segment also saw strong growth in October 2023, with sales growing by 8.5% compared to the same month last year. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was the best-selling MPV in India in October 2023, with sales of 12,876 units. It was followed by the Toyota Innova Crysta, Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and Maruti Suzuki XL6, which sold 11,907, 10,876, 9,787, and 8,678 units respectively.
The Indian car market is expected to continue to grow in the coming months, driven by strong economic growth and rising incomes.
