This 2021 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is available in petrol engine and 1 mid variant is available in CNG variant. Though I want to highlight that CNG variant should be available in a top variant which will create a huge impact on its sale as all the top model buyer will once in a while think of spending a bit more for CNG variant in rising petrol prices scenario.
Maruti has rammed down his diesel engine and its reason most probably would be because of the fate of BS6 compliant engine. So now the world has to move forward to petrol engines only and it is required for the betterment of the environment.

Now if we talk about pros of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2021 I must say the list is really long if you see the specific benefits in the top variant only they are as follows.
If we see the general specs then its light clutch and high-speed stability with 7 seating capacity is its forte. The smart play infotainment system is quite impressive at first and the interior along with it is very soothing to the eyes even the finish on dashboard makes it look very premium. Even the driving experience here mesmerizes me if you ask me why, the steering feels centered, the clutch is very light, overall car handling is smooth and the car feels more of super planned for attracting the audience of those who are looking for more space in less budget. Its CNG variant gives an average of 20km per kg though the company claims it to be 26km per kg. By the way, none of them is bad in any way getting a 20km per kg average in company fitted CNG with this bulky look feels astonishing.
The biggest USP of this vehicle is his bigger cabin space. There is a place where you feel congested is its 3rd row and that so obvious you can expect a 10 lakh car to be Toyota Innova spacious
Cons – MARUTI SUZUKI ERTIGA 2021
I can’t take many cons out of it but yes the build quality is low though it is self-explanatory Maruti was never famous for its built quality for its good average and a for a handsome pack of average you need to compromise with bodyweight index then only the best outcome is possible which Maruti is already excelling in.
Then the rear suspension is not so good it could be a little better. The diesel variant is not offered anymore it is discontinued due to BS6 compliant engine. Yes, the car is thick but the body roll is still there. Tyres are little thinner and cabin noise decouple the isolation it needed.
Suggestions to improve New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
- The CNG variant should be available in Top variant and low variant also.
- Defogger should be available in all variants.
- Rare wipers should be planted with all vehicles.
- Rare view mirror should have auto-dimming.
- Tyres should be a little thicker. Cabin noise should have better isolation.
Basically, the main suggestion is these are few those minor things which should be cured and should not be biased with variants. These are a few basics which not only Maruti Suzuki but should be adopted by all automobile brands.
